How long I’ve been attending CCFS and my role here:
3 yrs & 2 months. Started when COVID shut churches down and my previous church did not open like CCFS opened and once I heard Pastor Pat speak, I never returned to my former church.
Presently I serve as Compassion Ministry Leader & worked with Carol Kennedy to develop a plan for Widows’ Ministry and continue work with that ministry.
How I came to know the Lord:
Raised in Lutheran church, but family life did not play out in a Christian grounded manner. In 1979, I needed an answer to know if God is real and His love covered more than one denomination. He gave me that answer, but unfortunately it took me 41 years to fully grasp that meaning. That has occurred attending CC 14:6. I’ve learned more about The Word in the past 3 years than the 60+ years I’ve attended church.
