Our missionaries can feel isolated from fellow believers and even find themselves under spiritual attack. It is important for them to know that the local church is standing with them. When one “adopts” a 14:6 missionary, they will have the privilege of regularly praying for them and being a source of encouragement.
After you adopt a missionary, the IMPACT Missions team at 14:6 will send you a packet about your missionary with a list of suggestions on how you (and your family or Life Group) can be an encouragement.
Our hope is that you will commit to regularly pray for your missionary and send the occasional email or card. What a blessing this will be to our missionaries!

Terry and Cyndy Cirres
Terry and Cindy serve with Wycliff Bible Translators where they hike multiple miles over very rough terrain to provide solar powered Bibles in local indigenous languages. Papua New Guinea is home to 851 languages and people groups, making it the most linguistically diverse country in the world.
Ron and Arey Baning
Ron and Arey serve in Pattaya City, Thailand.
Ron & Arey Baning are Calvary Chapel FourteenSix (CCFS) missionaries called to Pattaya City, Thailand, in 2024 after thirteen years of preparation and ministry at CCFS. The Lord has used them in three church plants, and they are now working to establish a School of Ministry within the next two years. Their ministry includes helping rescue persecuted believers, discipling through English Bible classes, and reaching the lost through beach and pickleball outreach.
Matt and Holly Melton serve on staff with Cru, dedicating their work to reaching the next generation of college students with the gospel. Matt utilizes his web design expertise on the Creative One Media Team to build the ministry's global online presence, while Holly serves on the Evangelism and Theology Teams as a speaker, curriculum writer for "The Chosen," and doctoral student. Together, they authored the book “Disciple to Disciplemaker” that Calvary Chapel 14:6 is using to disciple others within the church. Bill and Tammy McKeever
MRM takes the gospel directly to the Mormon people by conducting outreaches at Mormon events such as temple openings and pageants. MRM educates the Body of Christ by speaking in churches, Bible colleges, seminaries, and conferences. We desire to serve all Christians who honor the fundamental tenets of the Christian faith as revealed in the Bible.
Angela Gherman, Missionary Director
Angela Gherman joined Child Evangelism Fellowship of Arizona in 2017, bringing with her 14 years of experience as a dedicated public school elementary teacher. As the Local Director for Maricopa County, she leads with a vision to inspire and impact the lives of children through faith-based programs in public schools. Angela enjoys training faithful volunteers to conduct Good News Clubs in public schools. She is enthusiastic about speaking to pastors about children’s ministry training, helping them to effectively reach more boys and girls with the Gospel
Brett and Cristina Bergstrom, Church Planters
The call to become a pastor came in 2008 first as an assistant, then senior pastor in Arizona at Calvary Chapel Surprise. Through an unfortunate set of circumstances, the Lord led Pastor Brett and Cristina to plant a new church in Calvary Chapel Southwest Houston in 2019. Brett and his wife Cristina have been married for 24 years and have three children and three grandchildren.
Ted and Linda Walker
“Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved.” More than 90% of the Jewish population do not know Jesus. Ted and Linda have faithfully served in Israel for 40 years and have been able to show Yeshua to many Jewish people.
Dear Faithful Brothers and Sisters, Words cannot fully express our gratitude to each of you who have faithfully prayed for and financially supported us since God called us to the mission field in 2014. Looking back over these 12 years, we are amazed by all God has brought us through. From learning a new language after age 50, and living in remote jungles, to facing dangerous situations, experiencing His miraculous protection and provision, and helping bring His Word to hundreds, even thousands, throughout Papua New Guinea. Through every challenge, we have been reminded that God does not call the equipped; He equips the called. Due to ongoing challenges renewing our work permits, changes in PNG law, and other personal circumstances, including medical and traumatic events, we believe God is leading us into a new season and have decided to retire from Wycliffe Bible Translators. However, we know we never truly retire from God's calling. We plan to continue supporting the Audio Bible Project and the faithful pastors and evangelists distributing solar-powered audio Bibles throughout PNG, while remaining connected with our co-workers and the ministry from afar. We deeply miss our brothers and sisters in PNG, but we are grateful that God continues to provide ways for us to participate in the work.

Calvary Torin
Estie serves as a missionary in Torino, Italy, where she has ministered since 2020. Born in the United States and raised in Mexico as the daughter of missionaries Bill and Reneè Martin, who planted Calvary Chapel Puerto Vallarta, she attended CCBC Murrieta and completed an internship before serving at a pregnancy resource center in Washington State. After visiting Italy in 2018, she returned in 2019 to spend three months with David and Denae Downs, seeking God’s direction for long-term ministry. Convinced of God’s calling, she returned to Italy in March 2020, just before the country entered its first major COVID-19 lockdown. Since then, she has served in a variety of roles at Calvary Torino, including managing the Audio & Video department, assisting the pastoral team, overseeing Sunday service setup and tear-down, organizing church events, discipling believers, and serving on the creative and leadership team for the Più Forti music and video project, which produces music, music videos, and children’s curriculum for Italian churches. As the church continues to grow, Estie remains committed to serving wherever needed and expanding her ministry responsibilities as God provides opportunities.
